SUMMARY:300 Hour Core Module: Advanced Asana Practice (Summer 2026)
DESCRIPTION:32 HOURS IN-PERSON with Martin Scott \nAll great yoga teaching blossoms out of the lived and embodied experience of the teacher’s own practice of yoga. In this training\, you will have the opportunity to deepen your own personal practice. You’ll learn more complex poses by deconstructing them into foundational asana and then rebuilding them. Through this method\, you will learn to feel steady\, confident and safe when practicing new\, more challenging poses. \nWe’ll also investigate what an “Advanced Practice” looks and feels like\, placing significant emphasis on self-inquiry and attention to detail\, rather than simply focusing on taking complicated shapes. You’ll learn personal modifications and self-adjustments that are appropriate for your physical and emotional state\, and a more sophisticated use of yoga props. All of these tools will translate into making you a stronger\, more aware teacher. \nThis training is in-person and consists of three weeks of morning practice on Mondays\, Tuesdays\, Thursdays and Fridays.  \nRequired Reading: \nAnatomy of Hatha Yoga by H.
