Advanced Teaching & Sequencing Techniques with Martin Scott

30 HOURS (24 IN CLASS + 6 INDEPENDENT)

As a new teacher, we learn simple tools to create transformative yoga classes. In this course, we will learn how to expand our repertoire and develop more inventive and creative sequencing through studying advanced sequencing methodology and through practice. We will also learn to hone our skills of improvisation and time management, and develop more of a personal teaching style. This module includes lecture, discussion, practice teaching, group exercises, and teaching presentations. The entire course will be taught in person.

300 Hour Program:

Completion of this 30 hour module will apply to the 300 hours required by Yoga Alliance for your 300-hour Advanced certification; 30 CEUs. Core modules can be taken in any order. Students may re-take any of the Core Modules for full credit at a slightly reduced rate.
