SUMMARY:The Art of Hands-On Assists
DESCRIPTION:The Art of Hands-On Assists with Brandi Zorzy\n \nAs yoga teachers\, we teach students how to practice properly through our verbal language\, our visual demonstrations\, and (though MIA for a few years!) our hands-on assists. In this workshop with Brandi Zorzy (E-RYT 500)\, you’ll be immersed in one full day of learning and practicing the magic of skillful hands-on assists. Gain confidence in safely guiding students toward deeper experiences of yoga postures with mindful hands-on support\, all while being in creative community with other teachers.\nIn this workshop\, you will learn:\n\nHow to use hands-on assists to support alignment and overall expression of a pose\nHow to execute both static and dynamic assists\nHow to use hands-on assisting to help your students feel safe and seen\nHow hands-on assisting may differ in public and private classes\nHow to execute hands-on assists for a variety of standing\, seated\, dynamic\, and passive postures\n\nThis workshop is geared toward teachers of all experience levels who would like to become more proficient in this technique. Advanced students with at least one year of regular practice can also attend.
