In this workshop, students use yoga and writing as therapeutic outlets and tools, to help free emotional and energy blockages in the body and the mind. “Our bodies are garbage heaps we collect experience, and from the decomposition of the thrown-out eggshells, spinach leaves, coffee grinds, and old steak bones out of our minds, come nitrogen, heat, and very fertile soil”…
says Natalie Goldberg in Writing Down the Bones. This very fertile soil – the rich garden of our mind – is harvested by using yoga and writing as therapeutic outlets to draw us deeper within ourselves to see who we really are.
Please bring your journal or a spiral notebook, and a pen for writing. Writing materials can be provided by the teacher at an extra charge.
The cost of this workshop is $25. Register here.
