This is your opportunity to receive a divine Reiki healing\, and experience the magic of combining this ancient art with restorative yoga. During this rejuvenating experience\, led by Christie Pitko (E-RYT 500)\, you’ll allow your body to rest\, restore\, and unfold into spacious bliss. After learning about Reiki\, you’ll be guided through a restorative yoga practice\, inviting you to release the daily tensions and stresses that accumulate over time. Then you’ll experience a Reiki healing from Christie. \nAbout the practices: Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that can reduce stress and anxiety\, facilitate the relief of pain\, and balance the body’s energy flow. During a traditional treatment\, the Reiki practitioner will gently touch or hover their hands over the body of the receiver. Reiki treats the entire person\, including body\, emotions\, mind and spirit. Restorative yoga is the practice of holding passive\, relaxing yoga poses\, in which the body is supported by soft props like blankets and bolsters. \nAbout the teacher: Christie is a Reiki Master Teacher who has been practicing and attuning folks to Reiki since 2008. She was the Resident Reiki Master at the Las Vegas Recovery Center for over 4 years\, working specifically with those healing from substance abuse. Christie is passionate about the power of Reiki\, meditation\, and yoga. She leads retreats and workshops that blend all of these modalities. \nThis class is open to everyone and requires no previous experience–only an openness to receive.
