As the year has progressed, I am realizing more and more just how special the February Intensive Teacher Training really was. You, the other teachers and the students supported me at a time when I needed it most. As I continue on my yoga journey I realize the very special gift of teacher training. I realize I know how to sequence a class, yoga philosophy and anatomy. I realize that I AM a good teacher and have knowledge to impart. I also realize that I am a perpetual student and find peace in the surrender of my practice.
The teacher training Yoga Garden SF has provided is phenomenal! On our last day together a group, I remember saying that my Costa Rica teacher training was like junior college and Yoga Garden SF was like the Ivy League. This rings even more true today.
This past weekend I was at the Wanderlust Festival in Tahoe where I was able to experience a handful of very special teachers. I was with newer teachers in teaching workshop and realized that we learned so much in the Yoga Garden program, There were students from other training programs, some from others in SF and they didn’t get the sequencing quite like we did.
I am eternally grateful for the gift you gave me. Thank you for holding space for me and allowing me to expand my practice.
I miss your classes and will see you soon.
