Headstands (sirsasanas) are not only fun, but also revitalizing to the entire body, as well as stimulating to the mind. Integrating headstands to your practice promotes healthy blood flow through the brain cells. This rejuvenating action is beneficial to your thinking power and allow thoughts to become clearer.

We will cover the fundamentals of the different muscles and alignment points that are helpful in accessing this pose, as well as the skills needed to build strength and stability in this shape.
We will explore the traditional headstand shape, and play with fun variations and transitions. Finally, we will move into a flow, integrating the headstand into a vinyasa sequence. You will leave the workshop feeling more confident in integrating this pose into your daily practice!
