Long before the whole of San Francisco was soaked by this season’s rains, our 20th St. studio faced water damage of its own. We’re elated to announce that Folk 20th St. studio is open once again! Thanks to our Mission community for their patience and understanding as our space was dried out, repaired, and brought back to life. We also must share our immense gratitude for the the highly skilled workers who took on the job—it was no small feat.
And another exciting announcement comes just in time for this refreshed reopening: starting Monday, March 20th, our offerings are finally expanding beyond yoga and into a range of fitness and movement classes. Last year, we surveyed over 500 students, teachers, neighbors, and friends and learned that most of you are keen to challenge yourselves, work up a sweat, and move your bodies in new ways. Next week, we’re giving you the chance to do just that while remaining within the uplifting environment of the Folk community.
In our best effort to ensure that this expansion is sustainable, barre classes, HIIT classes, and other new additions will only be offered at Folk 20th St. and Folk Nob Hill to begin with. But don’t worry, we’re aiming to reach all of our studios as soon as possible.
Folk 20th St. Schedule
While the schedule will ebb and flow with demand and capacity, the Folk 20th St. schedule is looking great thus far, the potential for personal growth and newfound connection is seemingly never-ending. Learn more about which fitness classes are being offered at Folk 20th St. and Folk Nob Hill here.
With a lovely group of new teachers on our team, yoga philosophy in our hearts, and our minds brimming with ideas, we step into this new chapter of our company with hope, curiosity, and openness. We hope that you meet us here!
