TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

With the exception of Folk 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, the cancellation of any program is accepted up to 14 days before the start of a training. If you cancel, the cost of the program will be refunded to you. If you withdraw from a program 13 days or fewer before the program start date, or after the program has begun, you will surrender your spot in the program and forfeit the entire program cost. If you choose to withdraw, you can enroll in a future training for an additional fee of 50% the cost of the training.

To receive CEU or certification credit, a minimum of 90% attendance is required for multi-day programs, unless drop-in days are specifically offered in the program description. Students who register for or attend less than 90% of a program may not receive any credit for the hours that they did attend, and put their certificate at risk. In the event of any absence, missed hours must be made up to receive credit for the program, when this option is available.

All Access Membership students who withdraw from a program less than 14 days before the start will be charged a late cancellation fee of 50% of the full program cost, as per the All Access Membership contract. All Access Membership holders who register but do not attend a program will also be charged the late cancellation fee.

200-HOUR TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

Certificates (and by association, confirmation of RYT-200 status through Yoga Alliance) will only be granted to students who participate in all hours of the training and/or complete all make-ups required, who have completed 100% of their homework assignments, and who have fully paid their tuition. Each student will receive an electronic copy of their certificate after they complete the three graduation requirements (attendance, homework completion, and tuition paid).

Students may only miss up to 10% (20 hours) of the training (of which hours must be made up). Those who miss more than 20 hours of training, may be dropped from the training while maintaining responsibility for full payment of the training. To receive certification, students must retake the training again at full price. A discounted price on the second training is possible depending on the space available within said training.

Attendance is mandatory for the first week of the 28-day program, or the first three weeks of the 12-week program. During that time, essential course pedagogy and introductory concepts are taught that are necessary for the remainder of the program.

We strongly recommend that students wait to start a 200-Hour training program until it is certain that full attendance is possible.

Tardiness is recorded. Students who miss a total of 50 minutes or more in total will be required to make up the time. Classes begin and end on time and each student is responsible for the material and minutes missed at the beginning of each class.

Students who have missed up to 20 hours of the training may make up the hours in one of three ways:
1) Schedule a private session with an instructor. Depending on the content of the missed coursework, instructor to student ratios may vary from 1:1 to 1:4.
2) Join a future training for the day(s) you missed. This option is available as space allows. $35 administrative fee per make up session.
3) When available and appropriate for the class content, watching a recording of the missed session is possible. $35 administrative fee per make up.
All hours must be made up within one year of initial training. Make up hours may be requested here.

Students who register with a non-refundable deposit of $500 must pay off the remainder of their balance or set up a payment plan at least 30 days before their training begins. Students who pay full tuition before the start of the program receive a $250 discount. Students who choose a payment plan must complete their payments on the remaining tuition within 6 monthly payments. Students in the 200-Hour program must pay their tuition in full before receiving a certificate of completion.

Cancellations are accepted up to 30 days prior to the start of a training. Students who choose to cancel within the allotted time will be refunded any tuition payments beyond the $500 non-refundable deposit. Those who withdraw from training with fewer than 30 days left until the start date are liable for the full balance of the teacher training tuition. No exceptions are granted.

CORE MODULES

Only students who complete all hours of each Core Module will receive credit for the module. Those who do not complete all hours, will not receive credit and will not receive a refund.
Certificates (and by association, confirmation of RYT-300 status through Yoga Alliance) is only granted to students who complete all hours of the program and/or all make-ups required.

Students may only miss up to 8 hours (or 1 day) of the program. After missing more than 8 hours of training, students are welcome to continue the program, but will not receive credit. Those who would like to receive credit for the Core Module will need to take the training again at a discounted price of $695. However, full payment of the first Core Module is still required.

In certain cases, course hours already completed may be counted as elective hours toward a 300-hour certificate, provided that a subsequent Core Module is completed.

Attendance is mandatory for the first two days of any core module. During that time, essential course pedagogy and introductory concepts are taught that are necessary for the remainder of the program. We strongly recommend that students wait to start a Core Module until it is certain that attendance of these first two days is possible.

Tardiness is recorded. Students who miss a total of 50 minutes or more in total will be required to make up the time. Classes begin and end on time and each student is responsible for the material and minutes missed at the beginning of each class.

Students who have missed up to 8 hours of the training may make up the hours in two ways:
1) Schedule a private session with an instructor. Depending on the content of the missed coursework, make-up time instructor to student ratios may vary from 1:1 to 1:4.
2) Join a future training for the day(s) missed. This option is available as space allows. $35 administrative fee per make up.
3) Watch a recording of the missed session. $35 administrative fee per make up. This applies to online trainings only.
All hours must be made up within one year of initial training. Because program content varies by instructor, students must contact their course teacher to find out what was missed. Students may be asked to complete an assignment (writing an essay, sequencing a class, etc.) on the content missed.

WORKSHOPS

For all programs except Folk Yoga School 200-hour yoga teacher training, cancellations are accepted up to 14 days before the start of a training; if you cancel, the cost of the program will be refunded to you. If you withdraw from a program less than 14 days before the program start date, or after the program has begun, you will surrender your spot in the program and forfeit the entire program cost.

To receive CEU or teacher training credit hours, you must attend a minimum of 90% of the program for all multi-day programs, unless drop-in days are specifically offered in the program description. Students who register for or attend less than 90% of a program may not receive credit for the hours that they did attend and may not receive a certificate. In the event of any absence, missed hours must be made up to receive credit for the program.

All Access Membership students who withdraw from a program less than 14 days before the start will be charged a late cancellation fee of 50% of the full program cost, as per the All Access Membership contract. All Access Membership students who register but do not attend a program will also be charged the late cancellation fee.
