Nina Samaco-Zamora
Nina is a clinical psychologist and a yogi. She first turned to yoga as an exercise. She was a former Philippine national athlete for the air rifle shooting and fencing teams. When she retired from competing, she discovered yoga as a good exercise to retain her flexibility and strength while taking care of her injuries. Subsequently, she discovered the emotional and psychological benefits of her practice. In 2013, she explored using yoga as a form of therapy while working with children. The results were positive and this encouraged her to take her teacher training.
She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Yoga Tree San Francisco in 2014. She has studied under Jason Bowman, Stacey Rosenberg and Mark Rausa. Nina is a versatile teacher. She adapts her style depending on the needs and abilities of her students. She is comfortable working with seniors and athletes recovering from injuries.
