WORKSHOP: Exploring the Deep Front Line

with Niki Saccareccia

Release the psoas, improve balance, gait analysis

 

deep frontlineThe Deep Front Line is a deep, core channel that that begins in the feet and ends in the tongue. The DFL relates the legs to the torso and acts as a sensory pathway into the subtle body. In this workshop you will:

 

  • Learn how to improve your gait and read other’s gait tendencies
  • Improve general balance issues in standing and walking positions
  • Release chronic jaw and throat tension
  • Enhance overall body awareness with a focus on subtle alignment
  • Learn and practice techniques for release of chronic foot tension and muscle cramping
Gain insight in retaining full-body awareness in your yoga practice by honing your deep understanding of the subtle pathways in the body and how by adjusting the DFL, you can enhance the stable/receptive balance of all asana. Part asana, part discussion. All levels welcome!

 


This course provides 3.5 Elective Contact Hours for YGSF 500 and/or 3.5 Yoga Alliance® CEUs
