300 Hour Core Module: Advanced Teaching & Sequencing Techniques with Martin Scott

Instruct with authenticity and sequence with purpose! In this course, you will learn how to develop more inventive and consistent sequencing skills through studying advanced sequencing methodology and through practice. You will also learn to hone your skills of improvisation and time management, and develop a teaching style that feels true to you. This module includes lecture, discussion, practice teaching, group exercises, and teaching presentations.

In this module, you will:

  1. Learn to skillfully sequence and lead classes in public, corporate, and online venues, as well as workshops, series, and retreats.
  2. Define your big picture goals as a teacher through self-inquiry, meditation, and practice.
  3. Find your authentic voice as a teacher.

Required Reading:

Yoga Sequencing: Designing Transformative Yoga Classes by Mark Stephens

(Read Chapters 1-4 before the first day)

Price:

Tuition is $950 or $850 if enrolled by March 23rd, 2024. Gain unlimited access to all Folk trainings, workshops, and classes with our Yoga School All Access Membership!

300 Hour Program:

Completion of this 30 hour module will apply to the 300 hours required by Yoga Alliance for your 300-hour Advanced certification; 30 CEUs. Core modules can be taken in any order. Students may re-take any of the Core Modules for full credit at a slightly reduced rate.
