Advanced Studies Elective with Katrin Kuttner
Update: due to illness, this workshop has been postponed. We will update this information as soon as it is rescheduled.
In this engaging three-hour session, Katrin Kuttner, E-RYT 500, will apply therapeutic techniques to yoga asana to help relieve tension and address common injuries found in the neck and shoulder girdle. Understand the biomechanics and movement principles in familiar poses to help you find more vitality and strength in your practice. Teachers will hone application skills by working with real students in a therapeutic manner.
Be prepared for asana, partner work, and hands-on practice. Bring a notebook and your questions.
This elective welcomes yoga students, teachers, and those with chronic neck/shoulder injuries.
“Katrin is an extraordinarily creative and skillful teacher. I am very impressed with her ability to balance strong leadership with compassion and encouragement.” – Desirée Rumbaugh, creator of “Yoga to the Rescue” DVD series.
