Lower Back Pain is one of the most common medical problems facing our sedentary culture, and a popular ailment for yoga practitioners. In this hands-on workshop, learn how to provide a supportive practice for the treatment of acute or chronic lower back pain.
We will cover how to sequence postures in order to release pain and stabilize the area, common issues associated with lower back pain and considerations for managing lumbar support and stability. Niki will discuss ways to work with some of the most popular complaints as well as best practices for approaching pain and discomfort. Please wear appropriate yoga clothing.
Current teachers and students are welcome in this all levels workshop.
