Studio Spotlight: Richmond

Studio Highlight: Inner Richmond

Each of our studios contains its own unique energy, buzzing and alive with the spirit of the community it exists within. No matter where you live, what you’re looking for, or who you want to learn from, our aim is to help you feel at home when you walk through our doors. That’s why we’ve decided to dig a bit deeper into each of our 7 studios to help you learn which space will feel the best for you. For our first studio spotlight, we’re shining a light on the Richmond!

What Makes 6th Ave Special?

This intimate yoga studio is a hidden gem of the Richmond hood. If each studio mirrors its community, Richmond is no exception. It’s just as cozy and relaxed as the family oriented neighborhood it’s a part of. Previously under Yoga Tree ownership, our beloved yoga community is back to bring you high quality instruction with a sincere community feel. The space is low maintenance and quiet, yet offers a diverse collection of classes that keeps the calendar exciting. This studio feels like our hidden gem; but happiness multiplies when shared, so come on over.

PS: your first class is just $15 & there is a weekly community class offered on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm for $15 as well.

Neighborhood Treats

Whether you’re leaving nice and sweaty or floating out our doors on a cloud of tranquility, your body may be craving something tasty before you go about the rest of your day. If that’s the case, all you’ve got to do is cross the street and visit our neighbor Nourish Cafe! Keep the self-care going with their whole food, plant-based menu of berry smoothies, grain bowls, and veggie burgers — you can’t go wrong. Although we could never pick a favorite, we recommend the toast sampler and chocolate chip cookies. And if you join us for a class on Sunday, stay for the farmer’s market just a few blocks away!

Other neighborhood favorites include The Richfield & Ashley’s Cafe (try Martin’s favorite — their mouthwatering Sea Salt Latte).

Need To Know Before You Go

As with many Richmond favorites, our studio at 182 6th Ave has decent parking options (by SF standards). Bring a handful of quarters for the meters, or give yourself some time and you’ll be sure to snag a free spot in this sleepier side of the city. If you’re riding a bike, we’ve got ample bike parking right in front of the studio, too. And MUNI riders are in luck — we’re right nearby the 24 Divisadero, 6 Parnassus and 71 Haight/Noriega!

Thanks for joining us for this week’s spotlight on our Richmond studio! Stay tuned to learn more about each of the special spaces we’ve cultivated across San Francisco.
