Partner Yoga & Ayurveda Workshop For Expecting and New Parents

July 13 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

$60

If you are a new parent (or about to be!), it’s a rich and pivotal time for your growing family. But sometimes we get so caught in the whirlwind of pregnancy or early parenting that we forget to connect with one another as deeply as we’d like.

In this warm and cozy workshop–Partner Yoga & Ayurveda for Expecting and New Parents–you’ll experience an afternoon of physical, emotional and spiritual connection with your partner. Through the ancient healing practices of Yoga and Ayurveda,  prenatal and postnatal yoga expert Marisa Toriggino will take you on a journey of cultivating a deeper foundation of mutual care and trust that will support the overall health and harmony of your family.

In this workshop, you will experience:

Partner Yoga, Meditation & Mantra. Engage in a sequence of gentle, revitalizing yoga poses, and breathing practices curated specifically for expectant mothers and their partners, or for new parents. These practices not only benefit physical health, but also foster a profound connection between you and your partner.

Warm Oil Massage: Discover the art of self-care and relaxation by learning Ayurvedic warm oil massage (abhyanga), so you can offer this soothing massage technique to each other. The workshop also includes a bottle of artesian Ayurveda Oil crafted by Marisa!

Tea Time: Nourish your soul with CCF Tea, a special Ayurvedic tea blend that promotes better digestion and inner harmony within your body and mind.

No prior yoga experience is required. Please wear comfy clothes. Babies are welcome! This workshop is in-person at the Folk NOPA studio.

Price:

$60 per person after June 13, 2024
