Calling all pregnant, soon-to-be-parents! Join Wipawee Morris and Majia Waris for this magical workshop that will create a space for you to connect with your partner, your new babe, and yourself. This 2-hour class experience includes active and restorative yoga, breathwork, massage, and teatime. Bring your romantic partner, a friend, a sibling, or anyone who is supporting you on this journey!
In Prenatal Partner Yoga, you will:
- Practice yoga with your partner and relax into their support
- Explore breathwork as a tool to break the pain/fear cycle
- Learn how to soothe your nervous system, now and during labor
- Learn to relax and open the pelvic area for ease and comfort during pregnancy
- Use partner massage as a tool for relaxation and joy
- Spark the love-bonding hormone, oxytocin, which plays an important role in the birthing process!
We’ll end with tea, a light snack, and a Q&A about the postpartum experience. Please wear comfy clothes. Mats and yoga props will be provided. This workshop is for all levels of yoga experience.
This event is in-person at NOPA studio. This module provides 2 contact hours toward Folk’s 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification with Yoga Alliance, or 3 CEUs if you are already a Registered Yoga Teacher.
