Let’s Get Moving: New Fitness Classes at Folk

One of the primary inspirations to evolve into Folk came from our community’s desire to move their bodies in new and different ways. While yoga philosophy will always exist at the core of our mission, we’re excited to grow alongside our students and expand our offerings to include new fitness classes at Folk. Starting Monday, March 20th, Folk students can find many more ways to move at Folk 20th St. (visit reopening blog post) and Folk Nob Hill!

Our schedule will ebb and flow with demand and capacity; but for now, Folk 20th St. and Folk Nob Hill are adding the following classes in addition to our standard yoga schedules:

Folk 20th St. Schedule

Monday

7-7:50am: High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) w/Carolyn Beckerman

5-6pm: Power Flow w/Ryan Gerard (start date 3/27/23)

Tuesday

7-7:50am: Calisthenics (Full Body) w/Ashley Harper

5-6pm: Power Flow w/Joe White

Wednesday

7-7:50am: Resistance Training (Legs and Glutes) w/Carolyn Smith

5-5:50pm: Moderate Intensity Interval Training (MIIT) with Michele Lomax (every other week starting 4/12)

5-5:50pm: Moderate Intensity Interval Training  (MIIT) with Renée Peñaloza (every other week starting 4/19)

Thursday

7-7:50am: Calisthenics (Full Body) w/Ashley Harper

5-6pm: Power Flow w/Michele Lomax

6:15-7:05pm: High Intensity Interval Training w/Rachel Soon

Friday

7-7:50am: Moderate Intensity Interval Training (Full Body) w/Carolyn Smith

5-6pm: Calisthenics w/ Renee Asteria (starting 4/21)

Saturday

8-8:50am: Calisthenics (Full Body) w/Ashley Harper

9:15am-10:10am: Yoga Flow w/Michele Lomax

10:30am-11:20am: Mobility and Strength (Glutes and Core) with Renee Asteria (starts 4/15)

Sunday

8-8:50am: Resistance Training (Legs and Glutes) w/Carolyn Smith

10-10:50am: High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) w/ Michele Lomax (start date: 4/9/23)

Tuesday

12pm-12:50pm Moderate Intensity Interval Training (MIIT) w/Daniela Rizza

6:15pm-7:05pm Circuit Training w/Sandra Navarro

Wednesday

9-9:50am: Mobility and Strength (Glutes and Core) with Maria Zhao (starting 4/7) 

12pm-12:50 Strength Training (Full body) class w/Sandra Navarro

Thursday

6:15pm- 7:05 High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class w/Sandra Navarro 

Sunday

10-10:50am: Mobility and Strength (Glutes and Core) with Maria Zhao (starting 4/7)

1:30-2:30- Yoga Sculpt with Brynn McNally (started 4/2)
